Everest Base Camp, Nepal

After an 8-day trek from Lukla (Nepal), I finally made it to EBC. This is probably the biggest accomplishment of my life other than the birth of my daughter who happen to turn 14 on the day I arrived at EBC! I was so proud of myself for fulfilling a dream of mine for so many years. Hearing the ice falls in the distance and imaging all of the people that have summited this mountain; for me to have come this far was the most thrilling experience I could have ever had.  Even though the weather was not cooperating on this day and I couldn't see any part of Everest, I knew she was there in the background welcoming me with open arms!

Grand Tetons National Park, WY

"this was my first time at the grand tetons national park- i’ve genuinely never felt so deeply in awe of the world before! every part of my surroundings was something out of a storybook and i left so grateful to be living on this earth :)"

Keansburg Beach, NJ

"This was taken pretty late at night, and I was with two of my closest friends and one of my sisters. When it’s that late and that dark, the beach almost becomes like a sensory deprivation area. In that moment, nothing else existed. No politics, no stresses, no worries. It was just us, lying in the sand, with only the fire to keep us warm."

Seattle, WA

"I grew up horse riding and when I finally got old enough to drive myself I’d spend full days at the barn. Sometimes instead of going for a ride I’d take my horse Nic for a walk on a local trail. The trail was lined with blackberry bushes and in the late summer the berries would roast in the sun all day and by the end of the day the air would smell of blackberry jam."

Westerly, RI

"I had the opportunity to take a weekend long vacation to Rhode Island last year with some of my closest friends. There is an obvious constrast between Manhattan and RI; walking across the beach at night after spending months surrounded by such an urban setting felt amazing. I was surrounded by the Earth and the people I love."

Hancock, NY

"I used to visit here at least once a year growing up. It was like a second home. I used to feel so safe walking around, seeing all of the people I've grown to love. But now I barely go. It's nice to think about the time I spent in this place that once was my home."
